As you may have guessed (or not) from the title, I was in New York again and snapped a couple shots around town while I was there. The neighborhoods featured are:

Flatbush
South Williamsburg
Kensington
Morningside
Harlem
East Harlem
Coney Island
Brighton Beach
Chelsea

And here's some LI to go along with that NY (warning: explicit lyrics)...

I didn't notice much Flatbush. I wish I knew you were heading out there would have liked to have seen an update on the blocks of Franklin Ave. just north of Eastern Parkway in Crown Heights because there were a bunch of things going in there when I left in Dec. 2010. I lived there for 2 years.

Great pics Flav, I see you are ballin bicoastal now. Had biz in the hood eh

Well done, Flav. It is nice to see your take on NYC. I am a bit surprised to see Kensington, though. It isn't near any of the other locales you photographed (Flatbush is nearby, I guess - great neighborhood, btw), and IMO, isn't special. At least not compared to Park Slope, Bed-Stuy, Crown Heights, etc., all of which have superior architecture, street life, dining/culture scenes, and levels of vibrancy, etc.

I have covered Franklin Ave, and Crown Heights in general, quite extensively in my NYC photo threads (here and here). It's a great area, and gets better each time I visit. I enjoyed brunch at Chavela's, flat whites at Glass Shop, and dinner at Barboncino this spring. I will likely visit again this fall.

I'm pretty sure that pic is taken in Morningside Park, which is a park in Upper Manhattan, near Columbia University.
