Québec city - Downtown

I made a small trip to Quebec city last week end. I've walked for few minutes in the downtown.

Here, is the complex G (G for governement)

Price building. The tallest building inside the wall of the old town

René Lévesque boulevard, one of the main artery of downtown

The front cour of the parlement. See on the top of the G, they was added a new antenna.

La Grande Allée

La fontaine de Tourny et l'hotel Hilton

La belle cour avant du Parlement

Tourny fountain. This is a gift offred by SIMONS (clothes shop) for the 400th anniversary of the city.

Carré d'Youville

Direction old Québec, Dauphine street

The stakering is opened !

La rue St-Jean

Hotel Delta in Le Radisson. The lower part is the hotel and the highest part is governement offices.

A street in St-Jean Baptiste.

West part of the St-Jean street

Banque Nationale building

René Lévesque boulevard

Hotel le Concorde with his rotating restaurant.

This is the helicopter which are going to make the installation of the antenna on the G

Old and new antennas

Complete operation !

Le parlement du Québec.

View from the stairs of the Parlement

Nice autumn colors in front of the Parlement !

Very good job....

I like this one...from the Upper Town to the Lower Town of Québec and the Laurentian Mountain (Quebec City's Greenbelt)

^^^ That one is my favorite as well. I like the view that it offers both up close & far away. Having said that, they're all great to see. Je voudrais visiter la ville de Québec!

I like this one better, with the Laurentians in the back, the yellow tint in the sky, the nice building, the river, some old houses, the walls, the fountain in the front. Everything you need is there

Merci, Thank you for that tour. Very nice and original shots.

It also show how those antennas are ugly and it gives me the idea to send the link to the Quebec city mayor's office, suggesting him to find a solution.
Would you agree?

Thank you again.

Quebec City is beautiful. Absolutely amazing city.

too bad i was 18 when I went with my gr. 12 french trip so we were just running around like little kids.

Definitely would go back sometime in the future.
