The potential acquirer would be, generally speaking, acquiring all of Salesforce's assets and liabilities. Contractual leases are effectively liabilities. That said, you never know what loopholes are built into the lease structure, but I imagine boston properties is sophisticated enough to make it fairly bulletproof.

that's what's being called "mission square" the coolest feature of which being that the're not extending minna street and needlessly clogging up the area with cars. wish they'd do the same from minna between first and second too, like they did at 535 mission, but i guess that's just my opinion.

Spoke with one of the workers at the site today and supposedly they have 10 feet of excavation to go. Steel will be above grade in 6 months. Take it for what its worth.

Spoke with a guy on site. Said no crane for close to half a year. They need to do foundation work.

I'm not going to lie, but I'm already over this tower. Even 181 Fremont is surging ahead. This thing is crawling along stupidly slowly. Wilshire Grand will open before this thing even gets out of the ground and CITC will be topped off, despite breaking ground well after.

I don't think earthquake engineering is an excuse any longer. I check webcam every day and there is are months on end without visible progress, yet all the troops on site. Wtf are they doing down there!?!

According to a few workers that post on instagram, they have to do a major jet grout operation before going down the next 10 feet. This is all soil prep that has to get done before the big pour. if you watch the cam, every day at least 2 trucks full of grout is shipped in. That's a whole lot of work being done, even if it is all below grade. The soil here just sucks.

From the construction cam, it looks like they are removing the jet grout equipment and installing the last walers. Which means they are about to dig the last 10 feet of the hole, and then start going up

^That's a bit of an oversimplification don't you think? Since that picture they have, removed the pre-existing foundations and pilings, Poured over 50 caissons 275ft down to bedrock, shored the perimeter, and dug a hole 80 ft deep, and prepped the soil for the mat pour.

haha...I actually kinda like that statue. To me it's somehow more appealing than the last version we saw. What it will actually look like in real life...nobody knows.

I see more caisson looking steel going in on-site. Also, new drill rigs have been installed. But they are HARD at work over there so I'm happy to really feel like there is significant progress moving forward.

Yeah, I didn't hate the 'old' design, but I think I might prefer this one as well. I like the tip of the cap to the old terminal.
