Great pictures! I love the fourth one! You found a way to make a parking garage look like fine architecture. Same with that garage in Fresno.

Very long tour! Beautiful landscapes and cities. I love the country and mountains shots. I like the variety of landscapes and the contrasts between all of them.

Thanks for sharing and greetings from Madrid, Spain.

Thumbs up California

I grew up near San Jose in Sunnyvale. Many of your views were mine as a kid. Great job capturing what I've always thought are some of the most beautiful parts of CA.

Wow, now this is a California thread. Great angles throughout too, especially the nature scenes. Respect

Very diverse and unique, truly capturing the essence of California in a way people aren't always so familiar. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks, folks!

I wanted to note that I also visited, but did not photograph Palo Alto, Hollister, Davis, and San Rafael, all of which were nice towns. I have one more thread to post from this trip of what might be the grittiest downtown in California.

California is a state I had seen fairly little of (A day in Los Angeles, and a week in the Bay Area, each over a decade ago), and this was the first time I really had the time to explore it on my own. California's landscape is an absolute treasure. I only drove 1,000 miles on this trip (I usually do twice that on a week-long excursion), but it felt like I saw a month's worth of stuff. This was primarily a hiking trip, and some of the best hiking I've done. I will need to return to do a northern coastal CA loop and a southern CA loop out of LA some time.
