Some Nashville and Honky-Tonk

We spent some time in the great state of Tennessee last week. We stayed a night and the next day in Nashville before continuing on to Memphis. It was a week filled with live music, amazing BBQ, cheap beer, and ridiculously friendly and fun people.....thanks Tennessee!!!

$5 All-You-Can-Drink-Beer......

Nashville has a really nice collection of historic buildings in its downtown. I wasn't totally expecting that.

Thanks for looking!

Thanks for posting these - Nashville was pleasantly surprising when I visited in 2009.

Great thread of my original hometown. This is one of the more comprehensive downtown Nashville threads I can remember on SSP. You have a nice eye for photography!

The only big city in Tennessee that I've yet to visit.

Looks to be pretty interesting.

Best Nashville thread I have seen, showing the gritty/old/dense side of the central business district. Lots of character in that city.

Was there for just an hour yesterday. I have been there 2 other times and i really like that city. The growth and the amount of change is incredible. I could be happy living there though i would miss the Pittsburgh area immensely. Birmingham and Louisvile are nice as well and make for a great trip driving on I-65. All three of those cities have character and have preserved a lot of old buildings.
