Gotham, the Empire City //city that never ceases to surprise

Another month and another thread of the great mega-city known as New York. As is the trend in my last few threads, I'll include more on the second page.

That intro pic is in my favorites!

BTW, the flooded area to the curious people has been nicknamed "The Moat", it's a small area in East New York - Lindenwood (along the borough borderline). Quite close to me, it's walkable from here.

Beautifully done Sabo!

It's on Linden Blvd, right near the Brooklyn-Queens border. This area is like total bizarro world.

Your pics are beautiful, period.

Now that I've gotten that out of the way, I couldn't help but notice the Black Cowboy sign... I was unaware that there were ANY cowboys on the east coast, let alone black cowboys. Right here in Oakland is the only city in the world to host the Black Cowboy parade every October... are there a lot of them in NYC?

Another feast for the eyes.
Having been there a bunch of times I know New York is like this, with this amazing diversity of people, places and landscapes, but you're one of the rare few who can capture it close to accurately. Great work.

Amazing, flawless photos. Just noticed this beautifully lit shot on my third look through. Love the skinny skyscraper and the fat hamburger, too!
